Leadership Development for Organizations That Have Tried This Before

Most leadership programs
end on graduation day.

APEX was built on the assumption that graduation day is the day most programs fail. If you've invested in leadership development before and watched the practices die in week three, this is the program built for that pattern. Not a workshop. A 12-week system with coaching built into every other week.

Why High Performers Plateau

The Cycle of Stuck.

Before APEX teaches a single framework, it starts with a diagnostic. The Cycle of Stuck reveals exactly where high performers get trapped when they step into leadership, and why the skills that made them successful as individual contributors are the same skills keeping them stuck as leaders.

The Cycle of Stuck: Leader Solves, Team Steps Back, Leader Takes On More, Team Relies on Leader, repeat
1
Leader Solves
A problem surfaces. The leader, used to being the top performer, jumps in and fixes it themselves.
2
Team Steps Back
The team learns the pattern. They stop taking initiative. Ownership quietly shifts upward.
3
Leader Takes On More
The leader absorbs more work. Succeeding individually but sinking as a leader. Burnout begins.
4
Team Relies on Leader
The cycle locks in. The team can't function without the leader. Everyone is stuck.
The Break

The cycle breaks when the leader stops solving and starts developing. Instead of fixing the problem, they ask, who on my team could grow by working through this? Instead of being the answer, they become the question. That's the shift from executor to developer, and it's the foundation APEX is built on.

The APEX Leadership Accelerator

Not a workshop.
A leadership operating system.

APEX is a 12-week cohort program for first-time and early-tenure managers, built as a system, not an event. Six 90-minute learning sessions on odd weeks. Six 90-minute group coaching sessions on even weeks. Manager touchpoints built into the program. A 60-day integration window past graduation. Five tangible work products participants build and deploy on their teams. An organizational closeout memo to you at Day 60.

12 weeks
A cohort architecture with coaching built into every other week.
Manager touchpoints
Built-in alignment with each participant's manager at weeks 4 to 6, week 8, and week 12.
Three-point measurement
Leadership Readiness Assessment at weeks 1, 6, and 12. Behavioral movement, not satisfaction scores.
Day 60 closeout
A 90-minute group coaching reunion plus a 2 to 3 page organizational closeout memo to the buyer.
How We Start

Three steps.
From conversation to cohort.

From the first 45 minutes to a contracted cohort, here's how the work begins.

01
The Diagnostic
A 45-minute Diagnostic Call. You walk me through what you're seeing in your manager layer — which leaders, what's stuck, what you've already tried. I tell you honestly which of three landing places fits: APEX, a single-engagement workshop, or no fit right now. If it's a fit, a tailored proposal follows.
02
The Proposal
If APEX or a workshop is the right move, you get a tailored proposal built around your scope. Investment number, scope, contract — written so you can hand it to your CHRO without having to re-explain it.
03
The Cohort
APEX launches on your timeline. Manager alignment first. Twelve weeks of structured cohort delivery. Sixty days of integration past graduation. A closeout memo to you at Day 60.
What Your Leaders Walk Away With

Installation,
not inspiration.

APEX leaders don't graduate with a notebook. They graduate with five tangible work products deployed on their teams, a 90-day deployment plan, and the identity shift from executor to developer.

  • Confident communication in high-stakes moments: meetings, reviews, escalations.
  • A proven framework for navigating difficult conversations, rehearsed before they need it.
  • Coaching-as-leadership skills: the ability to develop their team instead of doing the work for them.
  • Self-awareness of their own reactive patterns under pressure, and the regulation skills to stay in role.
  • Delegation architecture that creates team capacity instead of leader burnout.
  • Accountability systems that don't require constant oversight.
  • The ability to lead across generations and backgrounds without defaulting to one playbook.
  • A 90-day leadership deployment plan personalized to their actual role and context.
  • A peer network of high-performing leaders they keep after the program.
  • Clarity on their leadership identity: who they are, not just what they do.

If even one leadership transition fails this year, the cost (1.5 to 3x annual salary) exceeds the entire APEX investment for a full cohort of 10 to 30 leaders depending on tier.
